Here’s one from today’s Mini Headshot Session for Davis Deejays. This is Lindsay – we have plans to do more work together in the future, so stay tuned!
More from the great people at www.davisdeejays.com! This is Eddie. What’s awesome about him??? Eddie’s going to be our DJ. So he gets 2 headshots. Ok, not really why he gets two – he’s the secondary DJ at Davis. By special request, we did a formal tuxedo and a casual. But we’ll make sure he gets a drink or two at the party. 🙂
Ok, I just realized I never posted my third model from the bridal shoot in Georgetown. The following images are all of Antoinette, a great model who really helped us out on short notice. She is touring the area as she is normally in California, and we were lucky to have her for such a great shoot!
Look at me, making a post within 24 hours of a wedding! I rock.
These are just a few images from Jen & Mike’s wedding yesterday at the Hunter House in Vienna. Fortunately, the rain cleared up just before the ceremony so there was a beautiful outdoor wedding. Really, one of the nicest families I’ve ever had the pleasure of working for. Congratulations guys, and hope you have a fabulous time in Cabo! (You know, I do destination Trash-the-Dress sessions… ahem.)
Mike cleans up nice!

What a surprise that my personal favorite is of people’s feet. 🙂
Jen’s dad, seeing her in her dress for the first time.

Three bridesmaids and a flower girl (yes, more feet.)

Why can I never make a blog post before midnight? *sigh*
Just finished up at Jen & Mike’s rehearsal dinner for tomorrow’s wedding at Hunter House in Vienna. Great people, great dinner, and a great time all around! Here are a few from this evening:
As they’re going to Cabo for their honeymoon, mini maracas were the perfect party favor.
Jen & her nephews, in my not-so-commonly-seen Antique Light style
Tiramisu. I didn’t try any but by the looks of it, I really should have. Stupid “eating healthy”
The couple is into detail shots, too. Which is good, since so am I.
The flower-girl looking through the french doors
One I’m leaving in for my photographer friends. Just so I can hear “but, he’s just SO RED!” (haha Liz, I know you’re reading this.)
I’ll keep you all updated with tomorrow’s wedding images!
Here are a few from last night’s engagement session with a nice couple I met a few weeks ago. And they brought their dog… who kinda stole the show. 🙂
Meet Valerie, Jim, and their happy pup Bailey – to date, the best-behaved dog I have ever photographed. She needs to give Hailey lessons on behavior management.
And for something a little different as far as studio engagements go…
The Great DJ Project! 30 great djs, 1 great studio… one new website revamp? That’s right, I’m doing headshots of each of Davis Deejays’ star DJs. Today’s guest: Mary Ann
Planning a wedding or party? Check them out here: www.davisdeejays.com We look forward to working with them for this year’s Halloween party at our place too. 🙂
Eek! It’s after midnight. Ok, another month of “posting every day” has gone down the tubes I see… Hopefully, I can post double tomorrow to make up for it. As far as I’m concerned, 12:42 on Sunday morning still counts for Saturday, right?
Anyway, thought I’d share a couple from today’s extremely fun engagement session with Jenna & Matt. I LOVE when people are willing to try something different! These were taken in the studio (but with non-traditional poses), and then out and about Old Town. Matt wouldn’t get in the dumpster for the photographs that I wanted, but I think these are a pretty good substitute.
