Today’s Engagement Session with Jenna & Matt

Eek!  It’s after midnight.  Ok, another month of “posting every day” has gone down the tubes I see… Hopefully, I can post double tomorrow to make up for it.  As far as I’m concerned, 12:42 on Sunday morning still counts for Saturday, right?

Anyway, thought I’d share a couple from today’s extremely fun engagement session with Jenna & Matt.  I LOVE when people are willing to try something different!  These were taken in the studio (but with non-traditional poses), and then out and about Old Town.  Matt wouldn’t get in the dumpster for the photographs that I wanted, but I think these are a pretty good substitute.

Bridal Session with Models – Katya

About 3 weeks ago, Barbi Barnum of Studio B Photography in Fredericksburg and I decided we wanted to have a little photography playdate. Something to do for fun, you know? So we called some of our favorite models to do some cool bridal work. Starting with traditional studio style going to very retro Georgetown style… all the way through avant-garde high-fashion makeup (special thank you to our makeup artist, Ana).

This model is Katya. You might remember her from images on the old website in 1920’s style? As soon as I get my galleries up and running again, I’ll link this post to the glamour page. Anyway, she’s one of my favorite people in the whole wide world. I would say she’s a fantastic model and a real pleasure to work with but someone might snatch her up from me. And she’s MINE… ALL MINE!!!

Congratulations Becky & Steve

Last week we had the privilege of photographing a fantastic wedding for Becky & Steve. Actually, the whole weekend was rather eventful: Their rehearsal dinner on Friday, Wedding on Saturday, and Bridal Show on Sunday! This is, of course, why a little over a week has gone by before posting these… sleep deprivation!

Actually, as you can probably see, I changed the WHOLE website and blog to a more search-engine friendly version that I can update more frequently. And what better way to start off a first official blog post with a great couple and a great wedding???

…And we’re back!

Well, it’s official – we’re back online!And at some point, I might actually get my domain back too.

Stay tuned as we put up an entirely new website – for now at www.stephaniemillner.NET – as well as a new blog and all that other fun stuff. Also, our new email: info@stephaniemillner.net

HUGE thank you to my friend Betsy of Betsy’s Photography who got this blog back up and running. She’s my new tech-guru, much to her chagrin. (She’ll love to find this out when she gets the blog-feed, I’m sure.)
