The Sad Reason So Many Moms Take Selfies

I wanted to share this beautiful article from the Sydney Morning Herald.

So often, I hear from my clients that it’s been long – too long – since their last family portrait.  Some say 5 years, 10, 20… and some, never.  So many pictures of the kids, the pets, of dad – but rarely do moms get out from behind the camera to be in portraits with their families.

Don’t get me wrong – it’s fantastic that you document the small things.  And selfies are fun.  But what happens in 10 years from now, when that cell phone is obsolete?  Or when the hard drive crashes?  What will you have to pass on to your kids and grand-kids and future generations?

How will you be remembered?
